Learn How to Line Dance with the Tush Push

The Tush Push is a very common form of the line dance, it takes the customary line dance and adds a few more beats and steps. Although a little more complex, the Tush Push is worth learning. Don't forget the cowboy and cowgirl boots!


Below is the broken down counts and steps of the Tush Push
Heel Touches
Touch R heel to front
Touch R toe next to L
Touch R heel to front twice

Step onto R next to L
Touch L heel to front
Touch L toe next to R
Touch L heel to front twice

Step onto L next to R
Touch R heel to front
Step onto R next to L
Touch L heel to front
Step onto L next to R
Touch R heel to front
Clap hands (weight is on both feet with R slightly forward)

Hip Bumps & Rolls
Bump hips forward twice
Bump hips back twice
Roll hips around twice

Shuffle Step Forward & Rock Step
Shuffle Step Back & Rock Step
Shuffle Step forward (R-L-R)
Step forward on L
Step back on R

Shuffle Step backward (L-R-L)
Step back on R
Step forward on L

Shuffle Step Forward & Pivot ½
Shuffle Step forward (R-L-R)
Step forward on L
Pivot ½ to R (CW)
Shift weight onto L

Shuffle Step Forward & Turn ¾
Shuffle step forward (L-R-L)
